India’s travel industry is growing fast, and international companies are looking for direct access to the buyers shaping that expansion. From 1–3 September 2026, ITB India will bring the global travel industry to Mumbai, with more than 100 exhibitors and over 400 qualified buyers expected at the Jio World Convention Centre.

The three day B2B trade show and convention ITB India is designed to connect international destinations, airlines, hospitality companies and travel service providers with decision makers from India and South Asia. The focus spans leisure, MICE, corporate travel and travel technology, giving exhibitors a concentrated platform to develop partnerships and pursue new business opportunities in the region.
Among the confirmed exhibitors are Visit Maldives, Philippine Airlines, the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia, Sarawak Tourism Board, Visit Northern Finland, Tokyu Hotels, STIC GSA Services and oneworld x Taj InnerCircle, alongside a wider international lineup.

The buyer programme is similarly focused on business development, bringing together qualified buyers from India, South Asia and international markets. ITB India is supported by a broad network of Indian travel organisations, including TAFI, TAAI, OTOAI, ATOAI and NIMA.
“India continues to be one of the world's fastest-growing travel markets, creating significant opportunities for the global travel industry,” said Darren Seah, Executive Director, Messe Berlin Asia Pacific. According to Seah, the event provides international suppliers with a focused platform to connect with qualified buyers and build partnerships across India and South Asia.
Where technology meets the next generation of travel
ITB India 2026 will also put the industry's changing priorities under the spotlight through a conference programme spanning two stages and four tracks: Knowledge, MICE & Corporate, Travel Technology and Experiential Travel.
Artificial intelligence will feature prominently, with sessions exploring how AI could power the next generation of travel experiences. Other discussions will examine how destinations can address overtourism and carrying capacity, who is driving the next chapter of MICE in India and South Asia, and how values, emotions and purpose are influencing the new traveller.
The programme brings together speakers from companies including Amadeus, Escalent, FCM Meetings & Events, Kerten Hospitality, QuadLabs and STIC Travel Group.
For ITB India, the ambition extends beyond three days of meetings in Mumbai. As international travel businesses increasingly look towards India and South Asia for growth, the event aims to position itself as the meeting point between that expanding market and the global suppliers seeking to enter it.
