With the completion of Expo 2025 Osaka, NÜSSLI has set another milestone in its history: The major project was completed fully and successfully – and the realized pavilions were simultaneously awarded numerous international awards.

The numerous awards are not only recognition for NÜSSLI, but also an incentive. CEO Andy Böckli (pictured above) emphasizes: "We are delighted with every award and see it as motivation to continuously develop our projects and set new standards in the field of temporary architecture."
For NÜSSLI, a specialist in temporary construction, this brings the project full circle: from the realization of the first pavilions to the clean return of the last plot of land. An impressive testament to the company's strength in implementing complex international projects – from start to finish.

The Uzbekistan pavilion "Garden of Knowledge" was designed from the outset for reuse. Its modular wooden structure has already been dismantled and reassembled in Nukus (Karakalpakstan, Uzbekistan) as part of a new children's library and cultural campus. The project exemplifies sustainable architecture, circular construction, and the long-term use of temporary structures.
Widely recognized through international design and industry awards

The Swiss pavilion «La Suisse Enchantée», for which NÜSSLI was responsible as general contractor for project management and construction, impressed the international juries several times.

The Austrian Pavilion “Sounds of Austria” and also received awards.

the Kuwait pavilion “The Visionary Lighthouse”
as well as the Uzbekistan Pavilion “Garden of Knowledge”.
The awards were presented at prestigious competitions such as the iF Design Awards, the German Design Awards, and the World Expo Awards, as well as other international architecture and event awards (see expo-award flyer below). They recognize design quality, technical precision, sustainability, and the ability to make complex concepts spatially tangible.
Expertise in temporary architecture and implementation
The Expo projects in Osaka demonstrate how NÜSSLI efficiently and with high quality implements ambitious architectural visions together with international partners – in close collaboration with architectural firms, creative agencies and clients, with responsibility over the entire project cycle.
