All about automation is an Easyfairs success story, and it continues to grow. It now takes place at eleven locations: Berlin, Chemnitz, Düsseldorf, Friedrichshafen, Graz, Hamburg, Heilbronn, Straubing, Wels, Wetzlar, and Zurich, and is celebrating a record-breaking event in Friedrichshafen. At the Friedrichshafen Exhibition Center, all about automation is the largest event for industrial automation, robotics, and digitalization in southern Germany, and for the first time, it boasted over 500 exhibitors.

Growth across three exhibition halls in Friedrichshafen – compact and dialogue-oriented

With 525 exhibitors, the number of exhibitors has increased significantly compared to the previous year with 425 exhibitors.

New at the Friedrichshafen trade fair is a special area for start-ups, supported by the Fraunhofer IPA. A total of 15 start-ups – both in this special area and at their own booths – are using all about automation in Friedrichshafen to present their solutions.

Another new special area is the Future Now! Hub. Under the motto "Cost-efficient and sustainable automation solutions thanks to AI, digitalization and IIoT," it puts the spotlight on exhibitors who are using these key technologies to advance small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in particular. Here, it becomes clear how automation is shaping the future and what aspects are already feasible today.

The all-about-automation event in Heilbronn , Baden-Württemberg, is entering its fifth year and has established itself as a key meeting place for users from the industrially strong southwest of Germany. Over 200 exhibitors are expected. Running concurrently with all about automation in Heilbronn on May 6 , 2026, is ContainerDay Manufacturing, a one-day community congress at the intersection of smart manufacturing, industrial edge technology, and container solutions.

Just two weeks later, on May 20th and 21st, 2026, the first "all about automation" in Austria will take place in Wels. With around 250 exhibitors, it is already the largest trade fair for industrial automation in the country, even at its premiere.

The all about automation trade fair will take place in Hamburg on June 2nd and 3rd, 2026. Last year, the fair moved to the Hamburg Messe exhibition center and grew significantly. In 2025, the event returns to northern Germany and will once again be held in conjunction with the Logistics & Automation and Empack trade fairs, both also organized by Easyfairs.

The second "all about automation" event in Straubing will conclude the early summer tour on June 10th and 11th, 2026.
