Ahead of the next edition, taking place from 4 to 6 March 2027 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, Spielwarenmesse India Pvt. Ltd. is once again touring key regions of the country with its roadshow series providing an opportunity for networking and industry growth.
The first roadshow of the year took place in Rajkot in mid May, where Spielwarenmesse India Pvt. Ltd. joined forces with the Gujarat Toy Manufacturers Association (GTMA) to host a networking event for the regional toy community.
Gujarat is increasingly emerging as an important manufacturing hub for the toy industry, supported by its expanding plastics and engineering sectors. During the event, representatives of Spielwarenmesse India Pvt. Ltd. provided valuable insights into Kids India as well as the world's leading industry gatherings, Spielwarenmesse in Nuremberg and SPIEL Essen.

Several exhibitors who had previously participated in Kids India shared their experiences with the audience. Among them was Subhash Zala, Managing Director of Aditi Toys, who said: "Last year we participated in Kids India and we will exhibit again in 2027. We value our cooperation with Kids India and Spielwarenmesse because we always receive an excellent response at these fairs."
The importance of the trade fair for the regional toy industry was emphasised by GTMA President Shailesh Vaghasiya: "The toy industry in Gujarat continues to expand its manufacturing capabilities thanks to progressive policies and a dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem. Trade fairs such as Kids India provide valuable visibility for our manufacturers and support the industry's continued growth."
Tanu Ailawadi, Managing Director of Spielwarenmesse India Pvt. Ltd., expressed her satisfaction with the event: "We are grateful to GTMA for their support in organising this networking event and for helping us reach many more companies in this important region."

The Rajkot event marks the successful start of this year's roadshow series, highlighting Kids India's role in expanding the international footprint of the Spielwarenmesse brand while connecting India's fast growing toy industry with global markets ahead of Kids India 2027 in Mumbai.
