The autoXpérience Geneva underscores the enthusiasm of French-speaking Swiss for automobiles and the continued importance of this sector in the region. One hour before the fair closed on March 8th, the 2026 edition had already recorded 26,300 visitors, with particularly high attendance throughout the entire weekend.

Exhibitors report a significant increase in sales compared to 2025, confirming the relevance of a format that focuses consistently on test drives and the purchase of new cars. The autoXpérience proves once again that there is a strong and palpable need in French-speaking Switzerland to bring the public together at an automotive event.

A wider product range and rising indicators

The 2026 edition brought together 58 brands (+41% compared to 2025), 29 dealers (+53%), 238 passenger cars (+19%), 31 light commercial vehicles – new this year – and 127 models available for test drives. Following the first edition, which already attracted an enthusiastic audience, the second event presented a real challenge: to maintain interest, intensify interaction, and win over customers ready to buy. The expanded vehicle range and the increase in sales demonstrate that this challenge was met and the positive business development is clearly evident. The vast majority of exhibitors were already satisfied with the sales figures and the quality of the discussions during the four days of the trade fair.

A shopping experience designed specifically for shopping enthusiasts

The autoXpérience Geneva follows a simple and effective approach: it offers the French-speaking Swiss population the opportunity to compare, test drive, and buy new cars all in one place. The event presents the available options as close to the buyer as possible – in an accessible way tailored to the actual needs of visitors. In addition, a free vehicle inspection is offered to provide the best possible support for the purchase decision.

A century of automobiles in Geneva and still the same energy

In Geneva, the automobile has been an integral part of the cityscape for over a century. From the first exhibition in 1905, through the opening of the former Plainpalais exhibition center in 1926, to the move to Palexpo in 1981, the region has earned an excellent reputation as a host of automotive events. With the support of UPSA Geneva , autoXpérience Geneva continues this tradition , offering a modern automotive experience that remains true to the spirit of this history.
