The countdown to DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR 2026 is now firmly underway, with organisers releasing the official exhibitor list online ahead of the show’s return to Shanghai from 27–29 May 2026. For international buyers and industry professionals, this early access provides a strategic advantage, offering the ability to map out visits and arrange meetings before arriving on-site.

Staged as the largest carpet and flooring trade fair in the Asia-Pacific region, the 28th edition is set to bring together more than 1,500 exhibitors across a fully booked 210,000 square metres of exhibition space. With over 80,000 visitors expected from 120+ countries, the event continues to function as a central platform for global sourcing, trend discovery, and commercial exchange within one of the industry’s fastest evolving markets.

A Full Spectrum View of the Flooring Industry

DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR has long positioned itself as a comprehensive sourcing platform, and the 2026 edition reinforces that claim. The exhibition spans the entire value chain, from raw materials and machinery to finished flooring solutions and applications, allowing stakeholders to engage with every layer of production and design in a single environment.

The carpet sector will once again anchor a significant portion of the show, occupying two halls and hosting around 550 international brands and companies. The offering ranges from handmade and machine made carpets to rugs, mats, and carpet tiles, alongside the technologies and materials that underpin their production. A notable addition this year is the debut of the Coir Board of India, introducing a country pavilion that spotlights Indian craftsmanship and natural fibre innovation. Complementing this, a curated exhibition space led by Red Note (Xiaohongshu) will merge product display with trend-focused programming, including talks, influencer-led tours, and market insights.

Hard Flooring Takes Centre Stage

Equally prominent are the resilient and wood flooring segments, which together will occupy four halls. The resilient flooring category will feature more than 450 exhibitors, reflecting its continued commercial relevance and technological evolution. Meanwhile, the wood flooring sector will gather 400 leading brands, presenting everything from solid and engineered wood to laminate, bamboo, and cork solutions.

Within this segment, the European pavilion will showcase established names such as Kronospan, Neuhofer, and Stauf, reinforcing the show’s international reach. The co-located Cadex event will further enrich the programme, bringing architects and designers together through its flagship summit, Sense It! Design and Sensory Economy, alongside a series of talks and panel discussions.

Manufacturing Innovation at Scale

Beyond finished products, the Floor Tech sector will spotlight the manufacturing backbone of the industry. Spanning over 20,000 square metres and featuring more than 200 exhibitors, this area will present advanced production technologies focused on efficiency, precision, and customisation. The emphasis on flexible, small-batch manufacturing and energy efficient systems reflects broader shifts in how flooring products are designed and delivered in response to market demand.

China’s Industry Evolution on Display

A defining narrative of DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR 2026 is the ongoing transformation of China’s flooring sector. The event will highlight the transition from traditional “Made in China” manufacturing toward globally competitive Chinese brands. This shift is characterised by stronger branding, increased innovation, and the adoption of international business models such as “China headquarters + overseas bases,” enabling companies to operate with greater agility in global markets.

Sustainability will also remain a central theme. As regulatory expectations tighten and consumer awareness grows, Chinese manufacturers are increasingly prioritising environmentally responsible materials and safer indoor solutions. This evolution signals a broader industry move toward transparency and long term value creation.

A Strategic Gateway to Asia-Pacific Markets

As the flagship flooring exhibition in the region, DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR continues to leverage Asia’s manufacturing strength to connect global demand with scalable, reliable supply chains. For buyers, specifiers, and distributors, the 2026 edition offers not just product discovery, but a deeper understanding of how the industry is adapting to shifting economic, technological, and environmental pressures.

The newly released exhibitor list allows participants to begin that engagement early, turning pre-show planning into a competitive advantage in an increasingly complex global marketplace.
