Interschutz 2026 with Debut Exhibitor Imerys

Imerys will make its first appearance at Interschutz 2026, positioning its high performance absorbent technologies at the centre of next-generation spill control. From 1–6 June in Hannover, the company will showcase solutions engineered for rapid response across road, industrial, and waterborne incidents, an area of growing importance for both safety and environmental protection.

Taking place at the Hannover Exhibition Center, Interschutz remains the leading global platform for fire and rescue services, civil protection, and security. Imerys will exhibit in Hall 13, Stand G42, where its specialists will present a focused portfolio addressing real world spill scenarios.

A key highlight is the Absodan® range, a mineral-based absorbent built from calcined moler. Its highly porous structure enables immediate uptake of liquids while maintaining a hard, non-slip surface, even at full saturation, making it particularly suited to road incidents and industrial environments. Chemically inert and non-flammable, it can safely absorb a wide spectrum of substances, including oils, fuels, acids, alkalis, and solvents, while remaining efficient and easy to deploy.

For water based incidents, Imerys will present its Sorbix® PP White range. These polypropylene microfibre absorbents are hydrophobic, allowing them to float while selectively targeting hydrocarbons such as oil and fuel. Designed for use across lakes, rivers, and marine environments, the range supports containment strategies that limit the spread of pollutants, with lightweight, adaptable formats enabling rapid deployment.

Imerys is also a member of the European Association of Manufacturers of Tested Oil and Chemical Binding Agents (GÖC), reinforcing its alignment with industry standards in spill response and environmental safety.
