Travel Tech Asia 2026 brings the buyers to the table: Can it turn technology into business?

Travel technology is no longer simply about better booking engines or faster connectivity. As artificial intelligence, digital payments, personalisation and automation reshape how travel businesses operate, the real opportunity lies in putting the companies developing these solutions in front of the people who can actually buy them.

Travel Tech Asia 2026 is responding with a dedicated Hosted Buyer Programme designed to do exactly that.
Travel Tech Asia 2026 returns from 21–23 October 2026 at Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore, bringing together technology providers and travel businesses alongside ITB Asia and MICE Show Asia. More than 50 exhibitors, including Agoda, Airalo, China Mobile International Limited, SiteMinder and Trip.com, will showcase technologies spanning AI, connectivity, booking and distribution, payments, hospitality technology and digital travel.
But the biggest development may be less about what is being exhibited and more about who is being brought into the room.
The buyers are changing the opportunity
The new dedicated Hosted Buyer Programme will focus exclusively on travel technology, with around 100 technology focused buyers expected to participate. CIOs, CTOs and procurement leaders from hospitality companies, travel agencies and destination management companies will form the core of this audience, creating a more specialised environment for technology-based purchasing discussions.
That matters because travel technology is increasingly becoming a purchasing decision rather than simply an industry trend. A hotel group considering a new revenue-management platform, a DMC looking to automate operations or a travel company assessing AI powered personalisation does not necessarily need another general networking opportunity. It needs access to the right supplier, the right decision maker and, ultimately, a reason to invest.
One pass, three events, more possibilities
For visitors, the experience is also becoming simpler. A new All Access Pass replaces the previous separate registration approach, allowing one registration to provide access to Travel Tech Asia, ITB Asia and MICE Show Asia. Visitors can move between all three exhibition halls, conference sessions and networking functions, while the event app provides access to business meetings.
The result is an ecosystem that brings together travel, MICE and technology under one roof. For a travel business, that means the opportunity is not limited to discovering the latest software or technology provider. It can also mean finding new partners, understanding where the wider industry is moving and making connections across adjacent parts of the travel economy.
And there will be plenty to explore. Travel Tech Asia 2026 will feature solutions covering artificial intelligence, travel connectivity, booking and distribution, metasearch, hotel technology, virtual and augmented reality, data personalisation, mobile marketing, digital payments, blockchain, revenue management, transportation and mobility, voice technology and biometrics.
The Travel Tech Asia Theatre will take the discussion beyond the technology itself. Sessions such as “AI in Travel: Beyond the Hype, Where’s the Value?” ask the question that matters most to businesses: what does the technology actually deliver? Other discussions will examine payment innovation, revenue opportunities and what a technology driven travel industry could look like.
That practical focus is reflected in the speaker programme, with industry figures including Laura Houldsworth of Booking.com, Masahiro Yamashita of KAYAK, Oliver Dlouhy of Kiwi.com, Mehereen Agha Suharwardy of Go City®, Michele Ruberl of Travel Token Marketplace and Brett Henry of WebBeds.
So, what is in it for the people attending?
For technology providers, it is access to a concentrated audience of potential customers with responsibility for technology strategy and procurement. For travel businesses, it is a chance to compare solutions that could improve efficiency, revenue, connectivity and customer experience. For buyers, it is a more focused way to meet suppliers and assess technologies while still having access to the broader ITB Asia and MICE Show Asia ecosystem.
The underlying proposition is straightforward: less searching for the right connection, more opportunity to make one.
